To be in a perfect condition to work with your oracle database efficiently, you must create some database connections, so that you can view and work with database objects, use the SQL Worksheet, and use other interesting features.
Take note though – If the Oracle Home on your system is for Release 184.108.40.206 or is an earlier version, you cannot be able to use the “Create Local Connections” feature of SQL Developer to auto-generate local connections.
